An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.
Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
